We are pleased to announce that TGS Baltic Lithuania and Latvia offices have received CEE Legal Matters Deal of the Year Award. TGS Baltic Lithuania office received the award for advising UAB Euroapotheca on acquisition of Apoteksgruppen from Sweden, while TGS Baltic Latvia office - for advising AS Augstsprieguma tīkls on acquisition of stake in Conexus Baltic Grid from Uniper.
The CEE Legal Matters Deal of the Year Awards are especially valuable for being exclusively peer-selected, with no possibility of commercial bias or editorial prejudice. The nominees — three for each of the 17 CEE countries, for which the award was made — were selected by a panel of lawyers in each jurisdiction, reviewing the submissions coming from across the CEE. The winners were announced at the CEE Legal Matters Annual Banquet and Awards Ceremony in Prague on 6 June 2018. For more information please click here.

TGS Baltic Lithuania team was led by partner Marius Matonis, associate Andrius Voska.
As already announced, TGS Baltic Latvia office advised the Ministry of Economics on the acquisition of 18.31% of the shares of the natural gas transmission and storage system operator AS Conexus Baltic Grid by the Latvian electricity transmission system operator AS Augstsprieguma tīkls from the German energy company Uniper Ruhrgas International GmbH.
TGS Baltic Latvia team was led by partner Andra Rubene, associate Nauris Grigals (project manager) and supported by partner Linda Štrause, senior associate Māra Stabulniece, and associates Aija Kreicberga, Rūdolfs Vilsons, and Raivis Znotiņš.
