Legal due diligence of AS Latvijas Gaze in the interests of a bidder for E.ON Ruhrgas owned shares of AS Latvijas Gaze and assistance to the bidder in an auction type sale of the shares of AS Latvijas Gaze owned by E.ON Ruhrgas (2014);
Ivars Grunte and Linda Strause lead the teams providing full scope legal assistance to the state owned company Valsts nekustamie īpašumi (State Real Estate), a manager of the state owned real estates, with respect to the fire, which occurred on 21 June 2013 in the residence of the President of the State - Riga Castle during the reconstruction and renovation work (the value of the renovation and reconstruction works approx. EUR 32 854 332). This is recently the most serious fire, on which attention of the society is still focused;
Linda Strause and her team provides hull scope assistance to a leading bioenergetics and renewable energy production group of a European scale in the process of design, construction and operation of the production plants and combined heat and power plants, including one on a land leased from the state, with the total investment amount more than EUR 60,000,000.
Upon request of the Latvian National Library Foundation, a public non-profit organization created in order to promote the Latvian National Library, Linda Strause led TGS team in performance of a complex legal analysis and provided its opinion on possibility to terminate the announced public procurement procedure on the first stage of infrastructure works of the new building of the Latvian National Library and to apply a negotiated procedure without publication of a notice regarding a contract. The client submitted the opinion to the Ministry of Culture as an independent expert’s opinion;
Linda Strause successfully represented the Road Traffic Safety Directorate as the contracting authority in the Public Procurement Monitoring Bureau (aprpox. contract value EUR 5,2 millions) in relation to introdcution of new requirements for EU driving licences;
Linda Strause successfully represented AS Pasažieru vilciens as the public service provider in the Public Procurement Monitoring Bureau in relation to selection of candidates, also interpretation of the tender documents and possibilities to amend the same after the announcement, in a closed competition of one of the largest public procurement procedures in Latvia (approx. contract value EUR 611 millions);
Within a group of experts Linda Strause performed complex expertise on the legal status of a public procurement procedure of the Riga Southern Bridge (contract value more than EUR 121 millions), including evaluation of the concluded amendment to the procurement contract.
