Provided legal advice to bankruptcy administrator UAB Valnetas in bankruptcy administration procedures of AB bankas SNORAS (2014–2017);

Provided integrated legal advice to VšĮ Ekošviesa, a licensed organisation for management of waste electrical and electronic equipment, established by four major lamp manufacturers in Europe, i.e. GE, Philips, Osram and Sylvania, on developing business assumptions, establishing the organisation, obtaining the licence, preparing all corporate documents and on other matters related to the business (2010–2014);

Acted as one of leading advisers to AB Klaipėdos Nafta on implementation of the Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) Terminal project. Being one of the most significant strategic investment projects in Lithuania, the LNG Terminal project raised various legal and strategic issues, ranging from complex public procurement and general corporate matters to significant project financing and infrastructure issues (2011–2014);

Led public procurement projects of AB Klaipėdos Nafta related to implementation of the LNG Terminal project, including purchasing the Floating Storage and Regasification Unit for EUR 525 million, obtaining a bank guarantee in the amount of USD 50,000,000, concluding the service agreement for the Terminal infrastructure and others (2011–2014);

Tender on supply of the Liquefied Natural Gas Floating Storage and Regasification Unit (the “FSRU”) was conducted in accordance with the requirements of the Law of the Republic of Lithuania on Public Procurement. Following the procedure the Time Charter Party on the FSRU for a period of ten years with the purchase option was concluded. TGS was the main legal adviser on all major issues concerning the tender: selection of the tendering procedure; preparation of tender package documentation (invitation to express interest, invitation to tender); preparation of any and all other documents in relation to the tendering procedure as well as assistance and support throughout the procedure; representation and assistance during the negotiations with the tenderers. This tender by its value was one of the biggest tenders in Lithuania (2011–2012);

Assisted the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Lithuania on implementing the Third Energy Package directives in the Lithuanian legal system in the electricity and natural gas sectors (2012–2014);


Advised LITGRID, Lithuanian electricity system operator, on various and complex legal disputes, in relation to public procurement matters and other issues (2013);

Advised the European Investment Bank (EIB) on implementation of JESSICA (Joint European Support for Sustainable Investment in City Areas) initiative, in relation to issues of public procurement (2012);

Advised KEPCO, Korean Company, which took part in a competition organised by four neighbouring EU countries – Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia and Poland have planned to build a new nuclear power-plant using the infrastructure of now stopped Ignalina nuclear power-plant (2010).

Took part in legal due diligences of different Lithuanian companies (2010–2014);

Advises AB Klaipėdos Nafta on implementing the LNG project (FSRU), including the structure of the project, related environmental issues, territorial planning, public procurement and general corporate matters (2011–2014);

Took part in drafting the process development agreement in area of R&D and Intellectual Property, concerning Interferon alpha 5 proteins (2011);

On the assignment of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Lithuania, together with UAB PricewaterhouseCoopers prepared the assessment of the impact of public procurement on EU structural support absorption rates and efficiency. This assessment study is to be used by the Ministry of Finance for improving the EU structural support absorption taking into account the impact of public procurement on absorption efficiency. Conducted a survey of target groups, contracting authorities and agencies, analysed case studies, carried out the comparison of procurements financed from EU and other sources (2012);

Counselled LitPol Link, the coordinator of the preparatory works for the construction of the Lithuania-Poland power interconnection, on public procurement matters and joint procurements implemented by Lithuanian and Polish power supply operators (2010–2013),

Consulted Litgrid AB on contracts with contractors on the reconstruction of electricity transmission stations (2011–2013);

Consulted UAB Teniso Pasaulis, a company of MG Baltic Group, on the project of expanding the SEB arena and VšĮ Klaipėdos Jachtklubas on the reconstruction of small vessel pier in Smiltynė (2012–2014);

Consulted Arco Varavalitsemise AS, an Estonian company, on the acquisition of three office buildings in Lithuania (2007);

Provided legal services to different Lithuanian companies on business issues, including contract, labour, tax, and corporate law (2005–2010);

Represented a foreign investor in the transactions related to the acquisition of shares in an IT company and subsequent transfer of the acquired shares (2009–2010);

Represented a shareholder of UAB Interdata in executing the agreement on sale and purchase of shares and the shareholders’ agreement and in the dispute arising out of the agreement on sale and purchase of shares (2007–2009);

Participated in due diligences of different Lithuanian companies (2006–2007);

Provided legal services to Lithuanian and foreign investors in acquiring real estate in Lithuania (2006–2007).
